Scholarship Programs for International Students

KNB (Kemitraan Negara Berkembang) Scholarship Program

UMS is a partner for the KNB scholarship, which is a program offered by the government of the Republic of Indonesia since 2008 for international students coming from developing countries. Scholarship Programs for Indonesian Students

1. Pascasarjana Bakti Persyarikatan Scholarship (BP-BP)

This program is intended for Muhammadiyah cadres who work as lecturers, teachers, or employees at the Muhammadiyah Business Charity (AUM) by providing a 50% discount on education costs from the tuition fee component. Those who propose this scholarship scheme are expected to include uploading a recommendation letter from the local Muhammadiyah leadership (Central, Regional, Regional, or Branch level).

2. Pascasarjana Tunas Unggul Scholarship (BPTU)

This program is intended for prospective new students who graduate in the same year (fresh graduates) when they register to become postgraduate students from the previous level by providing a 25% discount on tuition fees. Those who propose this scholarship scheme are expected to include uploading a letter of recommendation from the local Dean.

3. Pascasarjana Ta’awun Untuk Negeri Scholarship (BPTUN)

This program is intended for prospective new students who graduate with special achievements (the best graduates with cum laude predicate). The winner of this scholarship will be selected strictly by a team appointed by the Chancellor by considering the achievement of passing the previous level, a minimum English TOEFL score of 500, and the results of the SPs-UMS PMB selection.
